This vitreo-reintal solictions based course is designed to help all healthcare professionals involved in eye care, with practical solutions to help them in their daily activities.
The course will consist of focused lectures on four separate themes from leading VR surgeons followed by a panel discussion based on each theme. It is designed to help trainees, consultants and allied health staff diagnose vitreo-retinal conditions and be updated on their current management. The course will also teach the principles involved in the management of a variety of ocular complications related to cataract surgery and intraocular therapeutic injections.

- Principles of retinal detachment repair
- Management of Vitreo-macular traction
- Management of Diabetic complications
- Management of Epi-retinal membranes and referral criteria
- Management of Macular holes and indications for Ocriplasmin use
- Advances in VR surgery
- VR surgery in complex cases
- Optimising your machine
- Cataract complications
- Intravitreal injection complications
- Management of aphakia and secondary IOLs
- Future vitreo-retinal therapies and surgical interventions
